Oleria expands to Bangalore: Welcome Rajneesh Kumar!
By Siva Garudayagari, CTO, Oleria
Just a year after Oleria started its engineering efforts, it’s fitting that the newest Oleria office is opening this April in Bangalore, India. This “Silicon Valley of India” is flourishing, as established tech giants and high-profile start-ups are opening or expanding operations throughout the area. I’m thrilled to announce that we are building an engineering team there—under the leadership of Rajneesh Kumar—to support our rapidly growing solutions portfolio and customer base.
As a company, we’re modernizing identity security through intelligent, adaptive, and autonomous software—and helping our customers transition from fear to freedom as they innovate and work to extract full value from their investments in generative AI, IoT, ML, and digital technologies. Bangalore is the perfect backdrop for what we are setting out to accomplish.
Similar to our home in the Seattle area, the Bangalore region has emerged as a global epicenter for digital innovation. Besides its vast pool of technical talent and rapidly expanding roster of tech company campuses, Bangalore is becoming known for bold thinking. Innovators are revered and people from every country and culture are warmly welcomed. If you’re going to thrive in tech—and if you’re going to serve customers effectively on a global basis—there’s no better place than Bangalore.
Our new office, located on Outer Ring Road in Bellandur, will house a mix of engineering talent – from early stage to Senior and Principal engineers. The primary focus for the new Bangalore team will be on engineering initiatives that relate directly to our customer’s ability to quickly realize value from Oleria by enabling quick and efficient onboarding of new application integrations.
As Head of Engineering, Rajneesh is the ideal leader for our new Bangalore team. Prior to joining Oleria, he led development and data collection for some prominent growth-stage tech companies. He built teams from the ground up and led the development of security, data collection and integration platforms. He was also in charge of various aspects of observability for a fast-growth company, where he quickly built an innovation team from zero to 50 engineers.
As we discussed our vision for the new office, I was impressed with Rajneesh’s commitment to culture. While technical skills are important, he builds teams that value energy, attitude, communication and collaboration. This approach is ideal because the pace of innovation in our space is intense. Developing a passionate, innovative and team-oriented approach is critical.
I look forward to working with Rajneesh to grow our Bangalore team and seeing our customers benefit from their great work!
